All of Goff's images are directly influenced by the Welsh landscape, personal recollections or a combination of both. Throughout his life, the area in which he has lived and worked has provided a constant source of inspiration. " I often find myself linking past events with the development of my paintings and using familiar imagery to reinforce the connection". Although most of his paintings have personal recollection and experience as their foundation, they are 'generalised' in a way which makes their appeal extremely wide ranging, A prolific artist, his originals are in great demand, regularly being sold, often in advance of being painted.
He works from a studio in his native town of Brynmawr and continues to appreciate the direct links with his 'origins' which provide the stimulation for the majority of his work.
The work of this artist has been on show at the UK's largest trade fair, held at the N.E.C. in Birmingham.
